Boswell tried to fight the man off, and as they scuffled, his 22-year-old grandson got a shotgun. When Boswell's grandson pointed the gun at the intruder, the man ran off.

Sounds like he already had one.

I didn't see anything saying he now wants a gun. He obviously already had one.

He has an A Rating from the NRA.

just because the guy has a D after his name doesn't automatically make him anti-gun. The same as the R doesn't make someone pro-gun.

Let's just hope he can influence his Democratic friends back in DC.

+1 to the congressman for defending his home and family (even though he was unarmed). Another +1 to the grandson for the presence of mind to ACT.
