I was just at Dick's here in Lafayette during lunch, and saw that they have Remington FMJ .223 for $6.98/box of 20. I nabbed a few for myself.

That price was good until tomorrow.

Last time they let that one slip I made 'em pay for it Now I've got a bunch of Remington I haven't shot.

No. AE is factory loaded ammo. Great stuff

I have shot about a thousand federal and as rounds through my m&p ar. No issues. I check eveeytime I'm at Walmart to see if they have any and pick up what's left when they do. I've shot the Remington. 223s as well. I had one misdeed with the Remington out of about 500 rounds

I agree 100%. Especially the Remington UMC. It just seems to be underpowered.

for plinking I buy pmc for 6.00 for box of 20 fmj. For something a little better I get 55 grn fmj for usa ammo once fired for 13.45 for box of 50 very consistent, and for something even better I buy 60 gr v-max ( usa ammo again) for 19.95 for box of 50 great stuff.
