I'm in the middle of my very first build. I started with a completely stripped lower, and have built a complete lower now. I have the entire upper assembly, but I reserve working on it for rainy days when i am not working. At the rate the last two weeks have been, I might have it done by the 1500... But I still need to get an A2 stock which I will probably find there at a good price.
