I only lived the first 25 years of my life in Michigan, but I have NEVER heard anyone from Michigan use the term "Michiganian". I have hear outsiders from lesser states use it, however.

I mainly only hear about Yoopers.

My wife is a Michigan native, she was always like Indiana is hickville, we’re the real gangsters up there. She changed her tune pretty quick the first time we took the wrong exit in Detroit
