Does any one know where...

I can find hand grips for my remington 1911? The only ones i can find are the rosewood and black one with the R on them. Does any one know of other gun model grips that will fit or where i can get diff hand grips?

I thought any grips also would be interchangeable on 1911s. I had a Taurus that I bought some beautiful grips for, guess what, did not work. Sold the gun and gave away the grips.

Have you tried brownells? Making a set of grips out of micarta is on my list of things to do...

Try Hogues, don't look pretty but make the gun comfy, good for lots of shooting.

What about custom made grips?

I used to know of a Norwegian named Hakan Pek who made custom grips to order. I never bought any but they were beautiful and the guys on the CZ forum spoke highly of him?

I hate to say it but Google is your friend on this one, there are entire websites dedicated to 1911 stocks for sale! Thousands of options, I would say almost anything you wanted!!
