Corgi is starting to get apprehensive about using the stairs, so I'm looking at a tote or something to help with bringing him up and down while still supporting his back.

Looking at things like log carriers (yes, log), which are made of canvas with handles... could cut some leg holes into them... add some padding. Not sure if that would be rigid enough though.

Anyone have to use something like this for a dog with potential back problems? Any ideas? He's about 25lbs, 20in waist, little larger chest.

    Thanks

A log carrier is what I first thought of. Does it need modification? The dog would learn to lay down on it and legs fold for the short trip on the stairs. Putting legs through holes might get old for you and the dog.
