Dole Salad Recalled

I know lots of us use these bagged salads for convenience sake and here we have one that's subject of a recall for listeria. May not be contaminated, but better safe than sorry. Indiana was included in the recall. Kroger brand salad, of the same type is also included, since it's Dole brand, too.

I love it when the TV new jerks give the teaser: Salads causing sickness, stay tuned...

And of course, I just happen to be eating a salad from a bag from Dole that I just bought at my local Kroger not 2 hours earlier.

Lucky me (I think) that the salad recalled was a different type and the date was different than the one I just finished.

With all the safeguards and oversight, you would think food recalls would never happen!!!
