Kinda sorta looks like it is supposed to be that way, doesn't it?

I know that asthetics are just that - looks, but one of the things I've always found is that pistol caliber AR's generally look a bit bubba'd up, even the really good 9mm conversions with good engineering, etc.

it says they will custom engrave it for you also for 15 bucks. thats a lot cheaper if you were to SBR it

What is the difference between the T1 and T2 and what is Vltor matching?

What is the difference between the T1 and T2 and what is Vltor matching?

Not DDLES, but the difference between the two types is in the type of aluminum used. The VLTOR machining is specifically to match the lines of VLTOR's MUR upper receiver.

I believe all this information can be found on Double Diamond's website.

The T1 version is 6061-T6511.

The T2 Version is 7075-T651.


The only difference between the two is the "Vltor matching" lower matches the Vltor upper at the buffer tube. The other lower matches the forged upper at the buffer tube.

Aren't they about the same as a true dedicated 9mm lower or a AR15 lower with a mag block?

The pricing I have seen has them running around the $275 mark, or a little over it.
