DPx HEST Original or ESEE 3 for EDC

Looking to pick up my first fixed blade for EDC and have narrowed it down to these two. I keep going back and forth and can't really decide. I like the glass breaker pommel and flush fit/finish of the scales on the ESEE. I like the thicker blade and bottle opener on the DPx HEST Original. Then again the blade on the ESEE 4 is thicker than an ESEE 3 and the scales are the same length and can get it with kydex sheath.

Depending on how your carry the DPx HEST Original may be uncomfortable if the pry bar pommel digs into you in an uncomfortable place.

A thicker blade is a less slicy blade.

I tried to carry the Hest, but the pry bar pommel drove me nuts. I traded it.

I've had both. I never found a use for the pry bar. I also never found need for the bottle opener since almost every other pocket tool/key chain/etc has one. It just seemed like a knife in an identity crisis. With that said, the ESEE didn't have anything the HEST didn't. I guess the bottom line is pick whichever feels better in your hand.
