I have a little Rohm .38 special derringer. Yes, I know that it is a junk saturday night special. (Actually, being a sns is why I love it so much) It's 44 years old, has never been worked on and still shoots great! It has been carried lots and shot little, maybe thirty rounds in its life. My problem is its zinc frame is without lots of it's paint. I tried one of those paint touch-up pens but it comes flying off the first tine it touches leather. what kind of paint was on it before? What will stick to zinc?
