Just picked up an Emerson kerambit for $59. It's seen use, needs a little sharpening. Good deal though? Will try to put pics up later, condition 75% maybe, mainly wearing, light scratches, etc.

    PICS BELOW.

If it looks even similar to a genuine Emerson you got an amazing deal. Congrats on a steel steal :) sharpen it up and use it in good health!

When I bought it at the pawn shop (went in looking for micrometers :D), looks like it had been sitting there since May, price was actually reduced from $79 :rockwoot:. Certainly wasn't expecting to see one of these, based on comments sounds like it was a good deal.

Of course, second part of the question for those who have kerambits/knives with an inside curved edge, is what do you use to sharpen it? I have the Lansky sharpening system, but it really works better with a convex edge.

    Suggestions?

Good luck on sharpening, it can be a real PITA on the curved blades.

Round stone, or maybe a dowl rod with sand paper wrapped around it.

Really, I'd send it to Emerson to have them sharpen it, that way you could just use a light strop to maintain it.

Good idea there, I'm going to put some stuff together and post tomorrow night (if I remember) what I come up with, in case others are interested.

Sharpening an inward curved edge like that is pretty tricky. Luckily its 154cm. My Strider karambits are S30V, and I gave up and sent them to Tyler34 @ Black Owl Customs. Sending it to Ernie might be the best way to go if you can't figure it out though.
