Yeah I bet he turns his life around and becomes and upstanding citizen. Is there anything that Big Government can't do??

Do you think his opinion of the law and those who enforce it may have also changed a bit?

Do you think that $500, realistically a month's rent and groceries, is an appropriate punishment for uttering a word on a bus?

Personally, I hope the guy gets a good lawyer who's willing to take this all the way. Including suing the municipality and the cops for violating his rights.
