I have been shooting all type of weapons since I was a little kid but before this past Sunday I had never had any formal training. I had the opportunity to take a 6 hour intermediate level course with some fabulous instructors. The concepts we covered weren't rocket science but I was amazed at how much better and faster I shoot from the draw now. By the end of the day I shot three targets three times accurately in 4.67 seconds and that is starting from a relaxed posture. I would highly recommend if you have never been to a formal class, no matter how good you think you are, you should try it out. I can't wait to go again and want start taking carbine courses as well.

Sorry... The class was at ProTeq Firearms Academy near Brazil IN. The owner of the range and one of the instructors is Don Brannan. I will have the names of the other instructors tomorrow. I just learned their first names. There were 4 instructors and only nine students so one on one time was great.
