Looks like the Bass are chasin the Bluegill around.
caught 7, 5 keepers

all on Green Rattle traps

Largest fish 2.8lbs

Very nice. This warm weather has been giving me the itch to get out and see if they're biting.

Getting ready for the fishing season. Wish I could have got on the water today...

They are moving for sure. I hit the pond a few times this week with pops and did pretty good. Got a 22.5 fat girl pushing 5lbs and my pops got a 25" super fatty that had to be at least 7lbs. We got 10-13 others from 1-3lbs also. Hit a few nice crappie with a 3 over 14". Went for a half hour or so today and couldn't get any. I'll post up a few pics when I get home. Get out there cause you can't catch'em with out your line in the water

Went this afternoon just to tune my reels etc, not much luck but it was a very small lake. It was nice to get out, guns and poles, what else is there.

Wewnt to Turttle Creek to pre fish for next Saturday's tournament. brought home 37 smaller ones 10 inches to 2 lbs

I am also addicted to both. Am about the century mark on both poles and guns. Plan to go crappie fishing tomorrow (3-13-12). The daily hurricane is supposed to subside tonight. Will have to get the boat out and try....John

Went to Missessinewa yesterday. Caught no crappies. Saw a few on fish finder. Water temp 51 to 53 degrees. Visibility was the problem. Very muiddy-vis was about 2 1/2 inches. Will be at least 4 days to clear up much around Red Bridge. May try Nyona lake today....John

If you make it out to Nyona, I would appreciate hearing how things went. We're heading out there this weekend to work on a house and may get in a little fishing.
