Presents our Level I Rifle Course
October 29-30, 2011, in Rochester, IN

Cost is $250 per student.

This 20-hour class begins with the basics, and is designed to create competent riflemen capable of deploying their firearms for defense from contact distances to 100-yards.

Topics will include:
-Safety
-Loading/unloading
-Zeroing
-Movement
-Stoppage reduction
-Reloads
-Transition to handgun
-Cover/concealment
-Shooting positions
-Contact shots
-Hostage situations
-Night/low light shooting
And much more!

Ages 18, and up, are welcome (16-17 with parent or guardian.) Payment in full is required to hold your spot.

Course will require 800 rounds of rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of pistol ammunition.

How often do you do this in Rochester? My in-laws live on the lake there, and my father-in-law would really like this.

I took this course as part of a 6-day Ultimate Training package that Fortress Defense put on in June (2 days defensive pistol, 2 days defensive carbine, 1 day tactical medical and 1 day vehicle defense with Henk Iverson). I enjoyed every part of the 6 days, but as a newbie to AR15's, I can tell you that it is a great course. Highly recommended. Not sure if Frank is going to combine these classes again, but if he does, jump on it.

We actually train there quite often - this will be our last course there for 2011, but we're looking at having 8-10 there next year of various types.

We also host John Farnam and Henk Iverson there, as well.

We're kicking around doing some version of the 6-day course again next year. It will probably be in June again. It may or may not include Henk - his schedule is always changing, but we have his #2 guy to call on, as well, and I'm sure we can make something interesting happen.

Had another great class!! The weather was great for this time of year mid 50's during the day and mid 30-40 for the night shoot.

I'm not surprised, but still pleased it went well.

Frank is a gifted communicator and teacher and his knowledge base is extensive and solid. I'm looking forward to participating in some of his classes next year and I expect to bring some of our students with me.
