After hearing all the "concerns" of Glock owners in regards to the Gen 4's being less reliable...it got me thinking about my recently purchased Gen 3 G26.

Could my G26 fall into the "should be concerned" category? It's test fire date was 7-2-2010.

Does anyone have any advice or a link to how i can figure out if I have a liability on my hands.

Have you had any issues with your gen 3's or gen 4's?

    Thank you in advance.

No liability. You are fine. There really isn't a mechanical difference between the G26 Gen 3 and Gen 4.

I did have a recoil spring on my Gen 3 G26 fail at around 1000 rounds. It's not a bad idea to keep extra springs on hand.

    ?

    Just go shoot it.

PS: The recoil spring is considered to be an expendable item that receives fair wear and tear over time. Glock recommends that it be replaced every 3000 to 5000 rounds depending on the model and usage.

PPS:I have over 3000 rounds each downrange so far through the G27 and the G22, one Gen. 3 and one Gen.4 never a single hiccup from either, both flawless.
