Glock Choice (FDE or EXO)

Having a tough time deciding between a Glock 19 FDE Gen4 or Glock 19 EXO Gen3. What would you pick if price is about the same? I just can't decide.

A coated slide and barrel vs a colored frame... I'd lean toward the Gen3 in EXO, assuming you're not wanting any of the other features of the Gen4...

Myself, not really liking the finger grooves on the 3rd Gen I purchased a FDE Gen 4 G19.... But having said that the EXO package is a great buy.

But I also prefer Trijicon or Mepro for NS so.... and my EDC is a G19 Gen 2 that I purchased new in 1993... just had new Mepros put on it this year.

I had my slide and barrel coated before it was cool.

Assuming you don't have particular need of the Gen4 features (reduced trigger reach, extended/reversible mag catch, additional backstraps), I'd do the 19Gen3 EXO.

I'm partial to the EXO myself. But, I also prefer Gen 2 & 3 Glock 9MMs.

Or, if you want both, buy the FDE and have the slide plated in NiB-X for $80.
