yes please share what you find out. I’ve shot thousands and thousands of rounds we’ve loaded without a problem in the Glocks

First time loading in longer than I'd like to admit, I loaded 400 rounds a few weeks ago. 1.06 OAL is the longest I could get and still consistently plunk. 142-3gr powder coated NOE flat nose, sized to .357. For three Gen5 Glocks. Oh, and a PCC.

This. That is where I load my Berry's flat points.

Flat nose bullets are tricky. You cant use the normal RN OAL because that puts the bullet too far forward due to the Ogive.

Some have used the Lee Bulge Buster kits for 9mm Makarov to "fix" Glock bulge in their cases. Lee doesn't make one for 9mm Luger, because of the taper, so you are on your own if you try. I bought one as a precaution years ago, never used it.

they are helpful, but not a panacea.

It's been a long time since I thought I had the Glock bulge issue. I think I did the same as you and cranked down the sizing die.

Compared to 45 ACP, 9mm is just all over the place with stuff that can be wrong. I still have a higher than expected rate of "for practice only," rounds that pretty much always work, pretty much of the time. :n00b:

I get some random range pickups that just dont want to size. Even with the die dialed in.

About half of those are corrected by the BB.

A Ring Roller or a push through die cures all bottom of case issues.
