Usually, impulse buys dont work out for me.
But, this rifle had a sweet trigger, it felt right, and just felt good in the hand.
I had to do it.
I know... ZERO about these old guns, and even less when they are bubba'ed up.
Its a Husqvarna M38 6.5x55 Swedish.
I do know, the price was right for the rifle, the scope which is a Simmons 3x9x50 and really very clear all the way out to 9x..., and a pile of ammo and a set of Pacific reloading dies, and a Timney trigger.
So basically what I am hoping you guys will tell me, is (edit: typo : $150 ) too much?
I figured, I can probably break even or sell it at a little loss after enjoying it for a few weekends.
Unless... I got taken. I dont know! are these things rolling pieces of junk or did I make a decent buy for an old junker to haul out to the range and plink with?
I sit awaiting the knowledge forthcoming.
My plan, is to put a 1913 sling on it, Krylon that stock Magpul FDE <as any mall ninja would> and take it to the range.
