    Between corn and soybean fields.
What are some good places in south eastern Indiana to pitch a tent and go camping? A place with a view, a place with a stream or anything that'd make for a nice weekend getaway to go be isolated and in nature to relax.

I just want to pitch a tent, bring a book or two and just sort of take a mini-vacation one weekend until I can get my other, actual vacation time, cleared and accepted.

I second Hemlock Cliffs, beautiful scenery and If you get off the path you can spend 2 days just checking everything out. Lots of fun with rappelling gear as well, just not by the old Indian cave.

Harrison Crawford State Forest has loads of great camping spots...you'll have to do some hiking to get there but worth the effort. O'Bannon Woods is good too, used to be called Wyandotte Woods. Great squirrel hunting there too.
