I want to pick up some more .308 ammo with reloadable brass.

I got an email from Cheaper than Dirt for 150 grain FMJ American Eagle (Federal) for $11.19 for a box of 20. For 400 rounds with shipping works out to $0.62 per round.

Also checked out USA Ammo and they have 150 grain FMJ at $263 for 480 rounds. With shipping works out to $0.57 per round.

Any better deals out there? Is USA Ammo worth the savings? Is the Federal any good? Just looking for basic plinking ammo to use in my LMT.

The pinch is in the brass. As long as you can pop out the primer, you can make any brass work. Good luck in the hunt. I bought 100 lbs of .308 military once fired at an auction. I'm set for a long time.

    Thanks for the link...

Not quite ready to start reloading 308 yet, but will. Still need to pick up a few more items to get into reloading full swing. Going to start with 45 ACP or 9mm before diving in to 308.

Found it at Widener's for $90 for 200 round battle pack. Did a quick search and this ammo has some good reviews...only down side is that it is a little light on power, but not horribly so...

I am using it in my LMT MWS. It does not seem picky on ammo so far...run some nasty milsurp thorugh it without any issues.

Oh ok I see, Id want some ammo on the cheaper side for a gun like that also, I bet it would get pretty pricey real quick shooting it a bunch
