I have looked alot at the CTD ones. They are the same price, but these have free shipping. Plus they are fire retardant, the CTD ones don't say they are.

all wool is fire retardant and naturally anti microbial. i won't go into much more as this thread wasn't really meant to but wool is definitely where its at.

You might want to try Sportsman's Guide. They have some heavy (4lb 6oz) Swedish military surplus blankets for about $15.00. They also have multipacks of thinner blankets for less.

Be careful ordering blankets from anywhere. I ordered some from ebay twice and two other places each once. All 4 times I was less than happy, nearly paper thin and seemed to be recycled carpet or something...

I ordered some Italian wool surplus blankets from Sportsmanship Guide. The smell of naphtha was so bad, I had to pitch them. Just a heads up.

The only wool blankets I would order from ebay would be hudson trade blankets, that a way you know what your getting.
