Long story short I came into a Belgian made browning 7mm rem mag in mint condition. Looks like it’s only see a couple dozen rounds in its long life.

anyway I went to sight it in (because I hate owning a gun that I can’t shoot/go hunting with if I want to) and it’s not cycling. This things are pretty complicated not to mention valuable so I really don’t want to tear into it without the expertise. any gun smiths with experience in these guns on the board or does anyone know one?

Id check scope base screws for bolt interference and then look at gas ports (plugged up).
Old guns, unused......oils solidify over time.

Got a Ruger #1 that hadn't been shot in 20 yrs and the action was all shellacked. Safety wouldn't work.
