WTS/WTT: H&R Handi Rifle in 500 S&W

Greetings. I have a Handi Rifle chambered in 500 s&w for sale or trade. Its in great shape, and currently has rifle sights, but is drilled for a scope as well. I also have a box of Hornady 300g ammo I will throw in. Realistically I would like to get $300 cash o trade. I am located in Madison, IN and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance for the right deal. A few things that I would be interested in trading for would be an XDs in 9mm, Glock 23 Gen4, maybe a nice Remington rifled 12 gauge, 357 revolver, but I am open to just about anything firearm related. I'd even trade it for some bulk ammo if its something I shoot.

I have one. What a beast, and a blast to shoot. I shoot Hornady 300 grain. My only complaint is the recoil will break open the barrel. More times than not. I have not noticed any accuracy issues from this, but be careful shooting some of the hotter loads. I use fiber optic rifle sights

You need to send that rifle to back to the factory ASAP to get it fixed. It should not do that.

Yep! That's a serious safety defect.

Madtowngunny needs to get in touch with H&R about lockup issue.

Come to find out, the locking units just needed a good cleaning and I needed to be more aggressive when closing the action.
