Didn't see the story anywhere and it's getting scant attention here where it happened.
Evidently this weekend four teenagers attacked an elderly gentleman with a hammer, beating him severely about the head.
Motive has not been determined.

Four teens arrested.
Two 18+ years old
Two <18 years old
Elderly gentleman is in critical condition.

And people want to know why I carry a gun...
Fair warning,
If you come at me with a hammer, expect incoming fire.

Yes, and that's what I mean.
A blurb on the evening news and that's it.
No details, no " coverage" to speak of.

We also had a murder over the same weekend.
A young male shot several times while standing in an apartment complex parking lot.
This one sounded targeted.
The hammer attack was apparently random.
