    Hey y'all

I recently bought a handgun off of Gunbroker and had it shipped to my LGS. It arrives, no problem, but then I receive a cool learning the owner passed away suddenly and there's going to be a delay as they get an endorsement to transfer handguns. At first I thought it was going to be a couple of days but now it's looking like two weeks. I'm a little bummed but it can't be helped; I hate something happened to the owner.

I was curious about the law on this though. Does an FFL holder have to have a special endorsement to transfer handguns from out of state?

I'm going to assume the owner was the person that applied and signed for FFL and the FFL needs to be "transferred to" or obtained by the new ownership.
I gotcha. I was just curious how that worked since it came up. I hate that he passed, I was just starting to get to know them since I'm new to the area.
