I've called their number and left a voicemail, emailed them asking if you jave to be a member to participate in their monthly IDPA shoot but I haven't gotten any replies.

Anyone here knows anything about this?

You don't have to be a HCFG club member, but you do need to be an IDPA memeber. We're a small club with limited space. Squad size can quickly become an issue. So it's not really open to the general public. The correct email for IDPA matches is IDPA@hcfg.org

I sent a msg to that e-mail last evening and haven't heard back, either. I was on the e-mail list last year, but hadn't rec'd anything this year.

I sent an e-mail to the HCFG and Jason with a question and never heard back from either. Went to a new to me club in Illinois and had a good time and I think a fairly good shoot. I havent got scores yet so am not sure how good my shooting was. For me at least there is a difference between having a good time and shooting well. Jim.
