    The .22 is way more deadly than people realize because it won't blow through, it will bounce around. As for penetrating the skull, it absolutely will if the range is right, and at the other end of the spectrum. In theory you can get hit center mass with a .50BMG and walk away with a bruise. If the range is right

    For what its worth I was hit three times in the torso with 7.62x39 but the one that ended my career and almost cost me my life and leg was in in the hip. You dont have to make a head shot to stop a determined attacker.

    y dose it matter i have a buddy in the miltary, guarding a base, he was shot by a afgan sniper and he was turning as the bullet his his chest and lived but the bullet got lodged in his shoulder so there are alot of different things that could happen

    A 9mm round will penetrate the skull. I aim for center mass though, biger target, less movement, and and better chance of hitting a vital area.

    It's all about angles. I know a person who has a scar about 2" above his eye where a 7.62x 39 kissed him on the way by. There's also a barely visible scar on his left ankle where another round was "stuck" in the bone. This happened the same day pretty much the same time. Nothing stops EVERY time. That's why you shoot until there is no threat. BTW I know this guy REALLY well:rolleyes:
