Help Me Decide!

So Im still pretty dead set on buying an AR50 from a member on this board. . . BUT. . . I handled a friends Savage 110BA in .338 Lapua.

Let me start off buy saying that the difference in ammo cost isnt really an issue for me. However, if you had the choice, which rifle would you buy? Does anyone own a Savage 110BA in .338 Lapua?

Any input is super appreciated

That is a tough one, but a 50 is a 50! You can't beat the coolness of a 50. I guess I'm voting for the 50.

I would think it would be a toss up other than ammo cost. That being said, I like to shoot my weapons frequently. The 50 would let me shoot more.

I mean as far as ammo costs, 338 lapua is around 110-120 for 20 rounds. Whereas 50bmg is around 45-55 for 10 rounds, so there's not a big difference in price

Really? I have seen 50 cal for as cheap as 30 bucks for 10 rounds lately. I guess if 90 dollars more is nothing to you, it is to me.

You can buy 50 BMG 750 gr. A-MAX for $4 a round, I wouldn't get an AR-50, cause it weight is 38 pounds & the trigger pull is 5 pounds. a McMILLAN 50 BMG with a jewell trigger you can adjust the trigger from 3 pounds to 2 oz. If you don't want to spend the big $$$ on the McMILLAN, than buy a STATE ARMS 50 BMG, cause there trigger is adjustable

Don't forget to buy a LEE 50 BMG KIT, so you can reload
