The plastic guides on my passenger window regulator broke. Got replacements and installed them on the cables in the guide rails. When I try to bolt the window back on, the rear guide is about 3/4 inch lower than the front causing the window to bind when going up. As far as I can tell there is no adjustment in the regulator, the cables are in good shape, as are all the pulleys. I can see the ends of both cables on the center drum - no problems there. I have started elongating the mount holes for better alignment but quit for the night. Any other ideas or suggestions?

Maybe not great advice but maybe something else went wrong when the guides broke? You can get a whole new thing at Advanced for 105.99-40 coupon. You have to order online and you can pickup at store. cpn code is "dealio". Amazon has it for 65 too.
