I have a Henry Large Loop Carbine and it has the slickest out of the box action of any lever I have played with. Mine has been very accurate and a real bullet hose. I use it for ammo my semi-auto .22s don't like, it doesn't seem to care.
Beautiful fit and finish, and really nice wood, I can highly recommend one.
I almost took it over to the Danville Conservation Club range today, and then I realized I have not renewed. The check is now in the mail, and as soon as I get my new range card, I'll put this baby through its paces.
If you don't find one locally, I know you can get one over the net from Budsgunshop.com, or go visit. It is near Louisville, Ky. From what I've seen online, their prices are good, too.
I think I got lucky finding one at Bradis. You could ask Shooter if they plan on getting any more there anytime soon. They always seem to have a good selection of Henry firearms. Last I was there, they had the pump I bought, a Golden Boy, two carbines, a US Survival Rifle, and I think a .22 mag Frontier.
