Need a product recommendation. We got a customized Henry a while back. It's due to be a display piece only, and I'm not sure what to do about cleaning it. I need something to wipe finger prints off of the metal, but I don't know what would could affect the wood finish. Kind of a newb when it comes to keeping guns mint. Most I buy are shooters that need refinished as is when I buy them. Any ideas? Thinking one of those silicon gun cloths might do the trick. They don't harm finishes do they?

An 1860 Henry? You can us a non-organic car wax on the brass and the barrel/magazine if in the white. Otherwise, a rag with RemOil on it is a pretty good protectant. If the fingerprints etch into the surface, clean up with Honda Metal polish (not as abrasive as Flitz).

The standard Henry rifle they sell now. Blued. So RemOil if it does get on the wood won't harm the finish?
