So, I had an issue at the range today and long story short; my Browning HP extractor ‘has left the chat’. I see a few variations available. Has anyone ever found one to be better than the other; or better than a factory one? I never had any issues with the original it if I’m stuck replacing it, might as well spend a bit more for a better one. I know some guns, like Ruger MK series .22’s work better with aftermarket extractors. Just curious if the same applies to the Grand Puissance, or however those goofy Belgians say it…

Following. Luckily both my SA-35'S did not have the extraction issues of the early serial numbers. If I did replace mine it would either be cylinder and slide or apex tactical.

Not having extraction issues before today. As of now, that big empty or is causing me some issues…

I had a Misfeed with some handloads and I guess it shoved the bullet back into the case and jacked up
    Pressure.

It’s kind of interesting because you can see the offset like how the case head was still locked into the breech face when the barrel dropped down and dumped the pressure into the extractor groove.

It’s kind of funny how you can look at something and see it happening in slow motion when you somewhat understand how things work…
