Hornday Magnum Sonic Cleaner

Have any of you used this piece of equipment: Hornady Manufacturing Company :: New Products :: Reloading :: Lock-N-Load® Magnum Sonic Cleaner™ and Accessories ? I am curious as to whether or not it is worth the 280 dollar price?! I am thinking of adding it to my bench but would like some feedback first. Thanks!

I was using ultrasonic cleaning and just switched over to stainless steel media wet tumbling. Bought the complete kit for less than the price you're showing for the ultrasonic cleaner here. I wouldn't invest that much into the sonic cleaner before at least researching wet SS tumbling. My experience was ultrasonic cleaning did not give near the results SS tumbling appears to give (my equipment arrives Friday, so I've only seen results produced by others at this point).

Keep in mind, though, sonic cleaning does clean well, it just doesn't polish well. My logic is if you can clean AND polish for the same investment, you might as well.

I hated having to tumble in corn cob after sonic cleaning, then having to clear flash holes before loading.

If you're willing to invest that much money, at least look into SS media tumbling.
