    Hi,
My name is Chuck and my wife and I are looking to buy a house on the North side of Indy. We currently live in Westfield, and are looking to buy something between 116th St. and 62nd St. (North and South boundaries) and between Allisonville and Michigan Rd (East and West boundaries).
We're looking for something with 3-4 bedrooms, 2+ bathrooms, and something with a 2+ car garage or room to build one.
I know this is a long shot, but is anybody in the market to sell in that area? Shoot me a PM if you're looking to sell! I'm not a realtor, just a regular guy looking to buy a house to live in.
    Sincerely,
    Chuck

I've lived between 56th and 116th my whole life... I can tell you alot.

Are you looking for recent construction? 70's+
Are older homes ok? like say 1950's - 60's?
    What about classic homes? 1920's-50's?
    Price range?

If you want the most bang for your buck, check out Nora (North of broad ripple to 465) and Homeplace (96th to 116th from Meridian to Rangeline), and if you want classic, look to South Broad Ripple ("Forest Hills" from 54th up to southern border of Broad Ripple)

I received 1 PM about a condo, but we're going to hold out for a house.

Ideally we'd be looking for something in Nora built 1950's or newer in good shape. Thanks for the help guys!

I know a great realtor if your interested? If your buying a house you should use a realtor. It costs you nothing and they do all of the hard work! :rockwoot:

Thanks for asking. We've got a great realtor (friend of my wife's) so we should be all set. I just figured I might catch somebody selling at just the right time and save us both some money.

    What's wrong with Westfield?

Without knowing your budget, try the area on 116th just east of Meridian, or 98th and Keystone.
