Was reading about your defensive rifle course. How 'bout a defensive rifle course? I've recently bought an 870, but haven't really used a shotgun since using them on duty and on our Emergency Services Team in '95 , and haven't trained on them since. Getting back into practice is fun, but professional training would sure be helpful. Cathy's never had any training with them, other than using them for hunting. Not at all the same thing.

I daresay there are at least as many folks out there depending on shotguns to defend home and family as handguns and rifles, and probably 90% of them suffer from the misconception all they'll have to do is rack the thing and scare the bad guys off, or point it somewhere in the general direction and slap the trigger.

John is working on the curriculum for an actual shotgun class. Until then, we can always do private or small group instruction to cover whatever you like.
