    Kind of a cool, short look at some of the places in the western world that have been designed to survive the worst that Earth and mankind can throw at them. I've always thought that Cheyenne Mt was cool but the Swiss Fort Knox is pretty damned cool, too. I think we could use a few more of these newer ones scattered around the globe.

    Interesting. I was somewhat surprised about the critics of the Norwegian seed storage facility. If they are really that concerned about putting all the eggs in one basket and also about the biodiversity of areas outside of northern Europe, they seem to have failed to notice that no one is prohibiting them from building as may facilities as they want and can afford.
