Recently I polled some fellow INGO members to help me make a choice as to the right 1911 (my first) for me. I recieved many great suggestions ranging from the STI Spartan to "anything Springfield!" (and everything between). I settled on the Springfield Range Officer and I am so happy with it!! Thank you all for your great advice!! Joshua.

I'm glad you posted this. I've been trying to decide on a .45 and this helps. I'm going to add another Springfield to my arsenal. I kind of thought this might be the right model anyways. But thanks for sharing.
