I floundered on wild game today

Every year, about every farmer, hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman in Hancock County, gets together at a farm south of Greenfield. They clean out their freezers of wild game and fish, cook them up and PIG-OUT! I ate;
Fried squirrel
Fried rabbit
Hossinfeffer (German sour rabbit) It tastes better than it sounds
Fried catfish and crappie
Deer stew
Corned venisen in cabbage
Fried turtle in gravy
Wild turkey breast nuggets
Home made elderberry and cherry wine (yummy)
And more beer than what was sold at the Superbowl
There was about 50 men in this 3 car garage, some preparing, some cooking, some fetching beer (my job) all were gorging them selves. This was my 1st time but hopfully not my last. I want to fix my deer stew specialty next year.

wish Id of known. Live in Hancock, first Ive heard of it. We used to have a coonhunters club here that had a wild game cook once in awhile

no beaver,coon,or possum?? You aint had good food till you eat a beaver pot roast

heard from my cousins neighbor that he heard at the hardware store that the clerks sisters husband was gonna go but didn't but his friend did and they said they had to carry old sonovasailor out and place him behind the wheel of his truck cuz he ate so much
