My son and I went out messing around yesterday and ended up at the Gun show over at the old Kays. We were having a good time and talking about some of the prices and how long it will take to come back down to reality etc.

Anyway, he stops at a knife display and is looking at the Esee blades. He has really been wanting one of their knives but isn't sure which model yet. I stepped off to the side to look at some of the other goodies, while he was talking with the guy and I looked up to see him handing over some of his hard earned cash. The kid has his first real job and is squeaky tight usually (mainly he prefers to save instead of buy - which is good, I just like to tease him sometimes), so I was surprised to see him buying something. I figured he must have found one he liked and stepped over to see what he bought himself. He looks up with a big ole smile and says "Happy Birthday Dad" and hands me the Izulla II I have been thinking about ordering for quite a while (but have been too cheap to actually get). You could of knocked me over with a feather. Anyway, enough words here is a little Izulla II porn. These are just a couple quick shots I took so I would have something to show off.

I know it looks like a lot of the other ones out there, but I wouldn't take a million bucks for this one.

Very nice looking knife. :) I'm not very familiar with ESEE products, what type of finish did they put on the blade? It almost looks like the same stuff they spray in truck beds only finer.
