I made this for a friend of mine, her son is 1.5 years old.
The wood is Aspen, poplar, and walnut.

I have A LOT of hours in this one...

My dad used to build and repair furniturein the winter when construction was slow and did alright, but it's tough to get people to pay for the time you put in.

    I giggled too :D

I'm thinking about making another one and trying to sell it.

Your woodworking skills are pretty good. When you build something, you should just build two. The synergies you get by building two at one time really lowers your man hours per item. Then you can sell it reasonable. You will at least end up with yours for free, most likely much better than free.

I dunno about "pretty good". It's "ok".

You do some very nice work, make sure to sign and date everything, I bought a branding iron from Rockler and hand write the date. I read somewhere about a guy who epoxies a penny to his work, the penny will be from the year the piece was made.
