Is there anyone whom is knowledgable in knife sharpening around the east side if Indy that would be willing to give me some pointers on sharpening some different blades. I'm not interested in spending a bunch of money on an expensive sharpener to do it for me. I want to learn the art of sharpening a blade with hand tools the old way.

I am willing to drive within reason, and would like verry much to learn some new things. I am a fairly recent knife junky, and have since started making my own hand made knives but lack the know how of sharpening. I can get them fairly sharp but not to my satisfaction. Thanks
