My TBL DVD seems to have vanished...Luckily The Blu Ray edition recently came out, so I rushed to the store and grabbed a copy.

Crisis averted.

The only problem is if you didn't see it when it was relatively new, there's a good chance you won't like it now.

It seems like everyone I know that saw it "back in the day" loves it and ranks it very high on their favorite movies list, but those that are just now seeing it don't understand the hype.

Think it's kind of a cult following. It never gets old and repeated viewings definitely help you get into it better.

Animal House came out years before my parents even met, but I love that movie...I don't think it's the funniest movie ever, but if I saw it in '78, there's a chance I'd think it is.

It can't be far...I guess I could just burn the digital copy I got with the Blu Ray and stick it in the DVD box.
