Marvel has been high on this one for a long time. They are very excited from the footage they have seen since day 1 of shooting. They think this will be really big. Rumors are they have already begun to plan the sequel.

Took the 11 y/o yesterday, saw it in 3D. It was "the best movie ever", but he tends to overdramatize. The story's kind of thin, but that's not why you go to something like this. It's just an adventure, and a bucketful of fun. Some respectable humor, too. Stay until after the credits.

Son and I are hitting the road tomorrow to see the movie at the IMAX in Portage! Got tickets already through Fandango!
I don't drive over an hour for just any movie.

Great movie. Went to see it yesterday with my son who is down from MN visiting and IndyGlockMan. Lots of action and humor. Still liked The Avengers better, but it was very good.

Son and I both loved it! Well worth the price of an IMAX admission! Looking forward to the sequel and the eventual movie connecting Earths hero's with the Guardians.
