to see that these pages haven't already got as many likes as the "One million moms for gun control page." They are well into several thousand fans and getting a lot of media exposure because of it. If gun owners have any hope of avoiding further regulations, now is not the time to remain silent.

The Obama administration and mainstream media are telling people "the even gun owners want more regulations" but I have yet to see ANY real proof of that.

If you do nothing else to to help the cause, I ask you to do one thing. Like these pages so that it doesn't send the impression that the media is telling the truth.

If you're motivated to do more:

Sign some petitions....and SHARE them around with everyone you can:

Contact your representatives and get everyone you can to do the same:
Congress.org – Get informed, get involved

I certainly hope that there is not this great divide amongst gun owners. (some disagreeing with semi-auto rifle posession)
United you stand, divided we will ALL fall.

I did my part. :) Well, other than the WH petitions, I'm not touching that one.
It's sad that the Moms against page has garnered over 6000 likes in only 4 days...and we haven't even broke 1000 on the pro gun pages....

yet every public poll online that i've seen suggests exactly the opposite

It might be because there are a lot of gun owners/supporters out there over the age of 40 that doesn't have, want or care to have a Facebook account.

    MODS, am I legal here?

Try Social Networking. I do not know how to embed, but these sites are NOT Facebook accounts, but REAL, concerned Gun Owning people, like us. Benj Franklin: "We must all hang together, or we will surely hang separately." Yup, that's us ACT UP GUNNERS! HERE:===> It's called "Social Networking" and if people really want to fight all the crap coming at us, this is a potent weapon.

Clicking a mouse button is all it takes.

Yeah, there are several contributing demographic factors.

What you mentioned, as well as the "they can find through FB so I'll try to remain anonymous" crowd....

Social media sad to say is the new big thing, i can't stand facebook loath it, but trust me, Obama watches it and has a page, Feinstein, every politician, actor, or any person of influence. You don't think someone out there is not looking at these stats and thinks the tide has turned. 400 pro gun vs 8000 anti gun
