Lafayette has Applied Ballistics Systems Inc.

It's a drvie from Indy, but they will allow rifles up to and including .300 Winmag

Very few ranges in the Indy area, indoor or outdoor, allow rifle calibers. Your best bet is Applied Ballistics as stated above. Nice range, usually an easy ride up 65 on the weekend.

so which ones are of the very few that do allow it?

Ha, I guess I'm considering Applied Ballistics and Atterbury, which are open-to-public ranges at under 1 hr drives from downtown Indy to be "Indy area." I know ACC and a maybe a few other private clubs are within an hour of indy, but I consider those too far for me to join and go regularly. The lack of rifle ranges around Indy is one of the primary reasons I haven't purchased a rifle caliber firearm yet...

Last I heard Hamilton County Fish and Game had a 100yd rifle range, but this was overhead from like 30ft away so I can't guarantee that's what I actually heard, lol.

Hamilton County Fish and Game does have a 100 yd range but you either have to be a member or know a member to go. They are in the process of building a 200 yd range.
