Installing a New Front Sight

I have a Kimber 1911 that I would like to change out the front sight. I stopped at a gun shop and asked how much to do it. They shot me a price of $35 . Is that a good price?

Sounds like it will save a possible headache!!! Sounds fair to me, I paid 30 for mine on XD springfield and it was worth every penny!
