I will shortly receive 2 sets of Meprolight night sights for my Glock 21, and 30. Are they difficult to install? I do not have a sight pusher, but believe maybe I could tap the front sight in place with a brass rod. Any thoughts?
You don't tap out the fron sight, it takes a 3/16 thin walled nut driver to remove, the rear sight, can be tapped out, but you better off with a sight pusher.

The easiest way to remove the stock plastic rear sight is a hammer and a punch (carefully...shouldnt really need said but...carefully). Depending on the manufacturer of the sights you purchased will determine the need for a sight pusher.
If you are going to be installing your own night sights then I suggest a pusher.
Otherwise I would just take it to a a smith. Most gun shops have a pusher and will install them for a very reasonable rate considering the cost of a good pusher.
