OK fellow geeks. I have a media server at home capable of streaming the MP4s I have on it. I had a DLNA client that was OK. Nothing great, but it worked. Mostly. (if you paused you were screwed, and you couldnt scrub to a point on the timeline reliably) It was abandoned so it no longer works under iOS 11.
Anyone have one they recommend? I see lots of them but its a crap shoot and I dont want to end up with another client that sucks. Free is preferred of course, but Im willing to throw a couple bucks at a product that is excellent.
And if you also know of a good one for android, Ive got kindle fires for the kids that could use them as well.
Fire away!
On a related note, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these. They are a lifesaver for car trips. Rip your DVDs to MP4 and play them on a tablet or laptop instead of carting around a huge stack of DVDs.
