How long does it take you to mow that? Could you raise the deck then go back over it with it at the regular height?
I picked that up and then remowed. Just hate to start mowing because it never stops till fall. I refuse to mow more than once a week and with gas prices it might be longer. My yard used to be cornfield 30 years ago so I just kept mowing the weeds. Very hardy grass now.

I'm in the same situation, 5 acres to mow with a dixie chopper. Even at the highest setting and the tires slightly overfilled its rough going this time of the year. I try to drop the deck a little every cut to get ahead of it for the times it's too wet to mow.

I try to time my early year cuts with rains like this weekend. Mowed Saturday, there were clumps and cut grass all over. Sunday morning it looked like the outfield of a baseball field with all the wind and rain we had.
